  • Widening of the A419. Please try to visit Stonehouse Town Hall Thursday, June 22 from 2 – 7.30 to view the plans to widen the A419. Residents views are essential and it is important that they are heard.

  • Car Boot Sale, Leonard Stanley School Saturday, June 24 from 12noon. Cars £5 Vans £7. Sellers from 11am. Refreshments, free entry for buyers. Proceeds to fund school equipment.
  • Stanley Singers are giving a concert on Sunday, June 25 at King's Stanley village hall at 7.30pm to support the work of ‘Allsorts’, a charity that supports local families with children and young people with special needs. Tickets at just £5 will included Pimms and refreshments.
  • Car Boor Sales – in aid of Stonehouse in Bloom. Starting this Saturday, June 3 from 10am – 2pm. (Sellers from 9am) £5 cars/vans. If more information is needed ring 01453 822070.
  • ParkRun. If you haven’t discovered ParkRun and you want to join the growing numbers of people who run for fun, why not go along to Old Ends Lane on a Saturday at 9am and see what they do. It is there for everyone and you can take part by running, walking, trotting with the dog or pushing a buggy – it really is up to you. Or if you are tempted to be part of the action, they always need volunteers.
  • Cotswold AONB Warden Led Walks. Friday, June 23 walk from Avening’s Wyvale garden centre to Hazel Wood & Yale Farm. 6 miles – 4hours. Don’t forget to take water!   • Table Top Sales in the Town Hall organised by Stonehouse in Bloom. This and every Saturday from 10am. Plants, books, preserves, bric-a-brac, cards, toiletries and more. And a delicious pieces of cake and a cuppa at Bloomers Café. It really is great fun and it’s never to soon to introduce you babe to the world of books and music.
  • King's Stanley Brownies has vacancies. We meet every Tuesday in the Village Hall from 6-7.30pm. If you are between 7-10 yrs old why not come along and find out what being a Brownie is all about make some new friends and learn some useful skills.

  • Stonehouse British Legion Women’s Sections. We meet on the last Thursday of every month at 1.45 in the Stonehouse Community Centre.   • Cycling4Health If you own a bike and want to get back into the saddle come along to the Stonehouse Community Centre on Mondays at 12.30 for an hours gentle cycling. Apart from the regular Sunday rides, on Wednesdays – there is an Afternoon Ride that meets at the Globe Stonehouse at 1.15pm for a leisurely ride and there are now some evening rides on a Tuesday – please check the website for details. But please – lights and mudguards are essential for all rides.
