MORE than £850 was raised as young children from in and around Brimscombe completed a charity walk on Friday.

The Big Toddle took place at Brimscombe Primary School and saw two and three year old children complete one or two laps of the school field.

Some of the children involved included the Jellytots toddler group based at the school and the jellybeans pre-school class.

Afterwards, the children celebrated their efforts with refreshments in the school hall.

The money raised will go to Barnados, a charity that aims to support vulnerable children who have often suffered some form of abuse.
