The van in question
GLOUCESTERSHIRE police are investigating an allegation of theft and assault in Bristol Road, Hardwicke.
It was reported at 12.46pm on Monday, June 26 that a woman had confronted two men in a van attempting to steal old alloy wheels from outside of her property.
Following the confrontation it appears the woman was carried along the road by the vehicle for a distance claimed to be about 40ft.
Others came to assist her and the van was driven away from the scene.
Police report the woman suffered a minor injury to the wrist.
Anyone with any information regarding this matter should contact the police on 101 referring to incident number 215 of the 26 June.
