Four arrested following assaults in Stonehouse including atttack on police officer
THERE were a string of arrests in Stonehouse just after midnight following alleged assaults on members of the public and a police officer.
Police were called to Severn Road, Stonehouse at 12.05am following reports of a fracas and arrested four individuals in total.
One woman was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and one man was arrested on suspicion of common assault and drug related offences.
Two others, one male and one female, were arrested on suspicion of common assault.
All four remain in police custody while investigations continue.
