A 31-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in Minchinhampton town centre on suspicion of causing criminal damage yesterday and is currently in custody.
A police spokesperson said: "At around 4.40pm yesterday (26 July) we responded to a report of a man damaging cars on Minchinhampton High Street, Stroud."
Adding: "A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and is currently in custody."
Three police cars were on the scene, arrested the man in question and begun assessing damage caused to several parked cars.
Officers spread their search onto all roads which lead to the High Street including West End, Tetbury Street, Butt Street and Bell Lane.
Some cars were left with notable dents and scratches.
