PHOTOGRAPHY students have been designing a series of posters for Cam and Dursley railway station to promote the area to travellers.

Working with Great Western Railway (GWR), a group of Rednock students have been designing a series of signs which will be displayed on the station's platforms.

The A-level students spent a day taking of a range of photos which will be used in the promotional posters.

“This joint project benefits our students in many ways,” said Andy Wallis, head of media at the school. “They are building their portfolio in support of their A-level qualification, gain a better understanding of how to work with commercial customers and this project support the promotion of our community here in Cam and Dursley.”

GWR has chosen some of the designs and they will be put on display at the station.
