A KEY road through Rodborough will be closed for five days.

Vital road-repairs on Rodborough Hill will see it closed from Monday, August 21 until Friday, August 25.

The road, which runs past the Prince Albert pub and Rodborough Community Primary School, is a crucial link for those travelling between Minchinhampton and Stroud.

It is also set to cause a considerable amount of disruption for residents on Rodborough Hill and the roads which join with it, such as Queen's, King's and Spillman's.

Traffic is set to be re-directed through the already congested Golden Cross junction where Walkley Hill, Bath Road and Dudbridge Hill converge.
