FILM Composer Pete Coleman is about to score what is probably the first ever ice hockey based zombie, comedy horror film.
Ahockalypse is an American production, written and directed by Wayne Harry Johnson Jr.
The film is about a hockey team fighting off zombies and trying to survive the apocalypse.
Pete Coleman from Stroud has been commissioned to write a rock influenced score for what will be his fifth feature film.
"The American director and producers of Ahockalypse are keen to have a rock influenced score for this film, although I think it will end up being a hybrid of rock, synth and orchestral instruments and textures" says Pete.
"I have worked with many rock bands over the years, from AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Paradise Lost to Napalm Death, so I think I'm well qualified to handle it!"
No release date has been set yet for Ahockalypse, but it is expected later this year or early 2018.
