FOREST GREEN manager Mark Cooper says he is happy with his transfer window business.
Cooper made three signings in the final week of the window and completed his squad yesterday by landing Liverpool teenager Toni Gomes on a season-long loan after adding Wolves winger Will Randall on Tuesday and Cambridge defender Mark Roberts last Friday.
Rovers signed sixteen players during the window, including five loans.
Cooper said: “I’m pleased with the work we’ve done in this window – it’s a difficult market and we’ve had to go for some loans but I’m pleased with the quality we’ve got in.”
Gomes and Randall are expected to feature at Wycombe on Saturday and Cooper is relishing the chance to unleash their power against the Chairboys.
He said: “Toni Gomes will bring pace, power, creativity and can score goals, adding him and Will Randall this week gives us more options in the attacking area which is something that we’ve been looking for, in terms of trying to play on the front foot in the last third of the pitch.
