ONE lane of the M5 between Junction 13 and Junction 14 will remain closed in both directions until later this evening after a lorry collided with the central reservation.
The incident occurred at 7.21am and traffic is heavily congested in the area as a result.
A fleet of emergency services are on the scene.
Only one vehicle was involved in the incident which saw a lorry travelling south cross into the northbound carriageway.
It is not yet known if there were any injuries but there appears to be substantial damage to the metal divider.
