CHILDREN, parents and teachers teamed up for the September Sizzle fundraiser at Stroud Valley Community School on Saturday.

A wide number of games and activities were on offer during the fundraiser, including old favourites such as hook a duck, a bouncy castle and even a talent competition put on by the children.

There were also plenty of refreshments with the BBQ team selling all the burgers.

This PTA fundraiser happens every year with the money raised going towards projects the school could never normally afford.

Recently money has gone towards plays pods to enhance the children’s activities during play time.

Headteacher Debbie Sleep was extremely pleased with the way the fundraiser went and including the impressive attendance.

“It was a really good and day and it builds up community spirit,” said Ms Sleep.

“I want to thank everyone for coming along, spending their money and most importantly having a good time.”
