A TETBURY teenager who was just over the legal drink-drive limit has been banned from the road.
Amelia Benson, 19, of Culkerton, Tetbury admitted drink-driving when she appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Thursday, October 5).
She was stopped in her Land Rover on the A429 Swindon Road, Cirencester on September 19.
Ms Benson was found to have 40 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
Magistrates banned her from driving for one year, fined her £250 and ordered her to pay £85 prosecution costs.
