FLOWERS have been left at the scene where an 18-year-old man died in Stroud over the weekend.

Police were called to the Merrywalks multi-storey car park, near Halfords, after reports that a man had been severely injured, at 10.20pm on Saturday.

Flowers and cards are now being left at the scene, attached to railings at the Rowcroft Retreat car park.

Despite medical attention given by paramedics he was pronounced dead at the scene.

It has been reported that several members of the public stayed at the scene until emergency services arrived.

Members of the public have also been quick to praise the response of emergency services personnel.
