QUILTERS' combined efforts have helped raise £2,000 for a canal-based charity.
Stinchcombe Quilters created a double quilt to be raffled off in aid of The Willow Trust.
For 27 years, the trust has been taking people with a wide range of disabilities on therapeutic days out on the canal.
To help fund its free work, the charity holds regular raffles, which have also previously been backed by Stinchcombe Quilters.
Its latest saw 2,000 tickets sold with the quilt being the top prize.
The lucky winners of the group's creation were Adrian and Wanda Hutchings from Cambridge who collected their new quilt as soon as the news came through.
