THE START of Saturday’s pro-Brexit march has moved following discussions between the organisers, Stroud District Council and police.
The Brexit Mean Exit rally will now begin in Kendrick Street at 10.30am, in place of the Subscription Rooms’ forecourt.
A spokesperson for the council said: "Anyone who wants to use the forecourt must apply in advance to the Subscription Rooms to use it.
No groups have applied to hold a meeting there on Saturday, and we've been informed that the UKIP rally won't be using the forecourt."
After the opening speeches attendees will proceed down the High Street, along King Street, before marching back up to George Street to Kendrick Street.
After closing speeches the group will retire to the Lord John for informal discussion.
