MAY we as Stroud District Council ward councillors who have had involvement for many years with the Stonehouse Goodwill Evening congratulate everyone who participated in Stonehouse Goodwill on Saturday.
Everyone, traders, choirs, stallholders, councillors and all the many varied volunteers, came together with the community making a magnificent effort to stage such a wonderful afternoon/evening.
That Santa took time out of his busy schedule to visit us and turn on the lights, delighting many young and not so young at his arrival heralded by so many lanterns was truly heart warming.
Congratulations to the staff and members of Stonehouse Town Council who took on the organisation when it was starting to look like it may not happen this year, they are in need of our gratitude and thanks yours.
