CCTV images released of Tesco purse theft suspect
CCTV images of a suspect involved in the theft of a purse in Tesco on Cam High Street have been released.
Police have said they would like to speak to the woman in the pictures as they believe she was involved in the incident which took place between 12.15pm and 12.25pm on Tuesday, December 12.
It is believed that the suspect followed the victim around the supermarket for around 15 minutes before reaching into her handbag, which was in the trolley, taking the purse and leaving the store.
Anyone who recognises the woman is asked to call 101 or email 101@gloucestershire.police.uk and quote incident number 94 of December 12.
Officers have reminded the public to always keep personal belongings nearby when out in public.
