A STROUD teenager has admitted driving while under the influence of drugs.

Tyler Rice, 18, of Langtoft Road, Slad, Stroud pleaded guilty to five offences when he appeared in Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on January 9.

Police stopped him in his Citroen Saxo on September 22 at Hilltop Close, Stroud.

Rice was found to be in possession of 0.45 grams of cocaine and 0.75 grams of cannabis.

He also drove while in excess of the specified limit of cannabis in his blood, without insurance and without a licence.

Magistrates adjourned the case until January 26 for sentence and granted Rice unconditional bail.
