OFFICERS in Cirencester are appealing for any witnesses after an elderly man was knocked over by a cyclist last week.
The incident, which took place at around 1pm on Friday, January 26, left the 91-year-old with a broken thigh-bone which required surgery as well as a fractured hand.
It is believed that the man was crossing the road on either Dyer Street or Querns Lane when a cyclist came from the Waterloo and knocked him over before looking back and riding on.
The cyclist is described as a young male with dark hair.
