POLICE are advising drivers to avoid the B4070 between Birdlip and Sheepscombe due to 'dangerous' conditions.
The warning, which was posted on Twitter by the Gloucestershire Police Force Control Room early this morning, advised anyone travelling to avoid the icy area.

Drivers are reminded that stopping in icy conditions can take ten times longer than normal, and to check routes before travelling this morning.
Trains across the district have also been impacted by yesterday's adverse weather and passengers are expected to experience delays and cancellations throughout the day.
