An opportunity to pick up a bargain in Eastington this Sunday now the weather has - finally - improved.

This Sunday 8 April the second Eastington yard trail will take place, which sees garages, drive ways and porches selling a treasure trove of items.

Last year's yard trail was such a success that the organisers couldn't help offering bargain hunters the opportunity to discover pre-loved items, home-grown produce and a whole host of other crafted goods around the village.

From 11am - 5pm the people of Eastington will be inviting friends, neighbours and visitors a chance to meet new people, while sifting through some real goodies.

Organiser Luke Honeychurch was inspired to set up the event after attending the hugely successful Stroud Yard Trail over the Fringe weekend last year.

"It's about finding a fantastic bargain whilst getting to know your community," he said.

"I live in Eastington with my wife and children and I found the first event was a brilliant opportunity to meet more locals, as well as rooting out some amazing bargains."

The yard sale is spread over the whole of the village, and will offer some wonderful finds to those who love a good car boot.

Eastington will be transformed into a playground for bargain hunters on Sunday 8 April from 11am to 5pm.

Please remember to park considerately when visiting the Eastington Yard Trail by car, and consider walking, cycling, using the bus or lift sharing if possible.
