THE LARGEST zero waste festival in the UK is coming to Gloucestershire this summer.

No Planet B festival will celebrate a more conscious way of living and is the first of its kind to bring veganism and minimalism to the forefront of the UK festival scene.

This inspirational event will take place at Elmore Estate, Gloucestershire, from August 24 to 26.

Guests can expect vegan street food, cookery classes, fantastic speakers and live music from acts such as One Man Plan and Ruth Blake.

Maudie Johnson, co-founder and creative director, said: “Zero waste, minimalism and veganism are snowballing right now.

We are increasingly focusing on what we can do to assist a deteriorating environment.”

With UK festivals generally producing more than 23,500 tonnes of waste per event, No Planet B offers a summer experience with a difference.

Attendees are encouraged to bring along a piece of unwanted non-recyclable plastic, which will be used to create a stunning art piece to be unveiled on the final day.

To come to this forward-thinking festival purchase tickets from April 22 following the launch of their IndieGoGo page.
