There are delays on the southbound M5 after an accident this in the early hours of this morning.
The collision, which involved three lorries and a car, happened at around 5.30am this morning.
The M5 southbound between juction 14, Thornbury, and junction 15 for the M4 at the Almondsbury Interchange was initially blocked but one lane has reopened.
One of the HGVs is believed to have shed a loda of hay bales onto the road.
Two lanes are currently closed while police and highways crew continue to recover vehicles.
A sweeper has been requested to clear the hay from the carriageway as one bale has split.
