A DENTIST from Stonehouse has been honoured with an award for his professional development by a dentistry academy in Florida.

Dr Neil Harris, who lives in Thornbury and works at his practice in Stonehouse, was presented the award following 10 years of training and development by the Dawson Academy.

As one of only nine dentists from the UK to be honoured, Dr Harris was presented with the award by Professor Peter Dawson and Dawson Academy clinical director Dr John Cranham at a conference in Clearwater, Florida.

Dr Harris said: “I’m delighted with this award. It recognises the thousands of hours of training I have undertaken to ensure I deliver the best dentistry for my patients.

“For me it’s all about creating high quality dental work that lasts!

“I’ve always tried to provide the very best treatments for every patient I see.

“The training I have undertaken means that I am able to provide the best aesthetic dentistry that works in harmony with the patient, meaning that any dental work lasts an incredibly long time.”
