A Stroud-bred baker is back in the town with a bohemian catering service.
Pennie McKenzie’s BoHo Bakery offers sweet and savory food, hot or cold, using alternative ingredients in an experimental style.
She underlined her and BoHo’s versatility to the SNJ, and she caters for anything from weddings and corporate events all the way to festivals.
Pennie first baked in Glasgow, before setting up BoHo in Bristol. She came back to Stroud around Christmas, but she still has clients all over the South West.
Her long term ambition for BoHo is for it to offer apprenticeships to young people who didn’t finish education due to mental health issues.
