A WOMAN from Stroud received a random act of kindness on Sunday.
The generous gesture was offered to Lynn Wardrop when she to paid for her petrol, juice and snacks at Dudbridge Garage, Stroud.
Speaking to the SNJ, Lynn said: "I went to pay when I was told the gentleman in the red car paid for my petrol as a random act of kindness."
The cashier told me he had never witnessed anything like it before, it was really touching."
At the time Lynn was returning from Bristol with her daughters friend and boyfriend after her child's birthday.
"We almost felt guilty as I was able to afford the petrol, but it's great to know there are such kind people out there," added Lynn.
Because of the unknown man's generosity, Lynn hopes he will read the story in the future.
Lynn had this message for the man: "I hope that you also receive a random act of kindness in the future."
"I offer my sincere thanks to the stranger with a kind heart and soul."
