STROUD landlord Ian Morrison is toasting three decades at the Retreat and wants customers to send in their pub picture memories from the past 30 years.
Retreat regular Adrian Stratton, who is helping coordinate the celebrations, said: “If people have good old-fashioned photos, please take them into the Retreat and we will be happy to scan them in.
“Ian has been amazed by the response so far and the photos sent in have brought back so many fantastic memories.
“The building has been a licensed premises for 250 years and if people have any photos or information about the site prior to it becoming the Retreat, then please get in touch.”
A number of events are being planned to celebrate the 30th year, including the annual Retreat cricket match and the Cheltenham to Stroud cycle ride. There will also be further celebrations to mark this eventful era.
