The A46 (Stroud to Pitchcombe) will close this week for resurfacing as part of the county council's £150 million spend on highways.
Gloucestershire County Council's work will take place from Friday, May 25 to Monday, June 11 with a road closure in place each night from 7pm to 7am (excluding Saturday and Sunday nights).
Overall, the scheme will see 19,976m² of the road resurfaced with 2,538 tonnes of hard-wearing asphalt with high skid resistance. Crews will also make improvements to signage and road lining.
The junction of the A46 and A4173 will not be resurfaced as part of the scheme, as this will be done later in the year as part of a junction improvement scheme.
