A Gloucestershire group campaigning for the UK to stay in the EU has booked a coach to take people from Stroud to London for a protest.

Glostays, chaired by Gil Lloyd, has room to take at least fifty people to join a march to call for a vote on the final Brexit deal organised by campaign group People’s Vote.

People will gather at Stratford Park Leisure Centre on Saturday, June 23, leaving at 8am and returning by 4pm, with a seat costing £15.

The march starts at Hyde Park at noon, with protesters making their way to Parliament to rally around the case for a second Brexit referendum, as laid out by guest speakers.

So far forty people have signed up for a seat on the Stroud shuttle and Glostays is considering a getting a second coach.

In the meantime, stalls run by Glostays will be on the streets of Nailsworth, Stroud and Dursley over next three Saturdays to sign people up for the protest.

No claims of how much money will be spent on the NHS after Brexit will be printed on the side of Glostay's bus, Mr Lloyd told the SNJ.
