Cotswold AONB Wardens’ Walks - Wednesday, June 6 walk from Avening’s Queen Matilda PH to Cherington & Nag’s Head. 4 hours 8 miles. All walks start at 10am and return to the starting point. Next Tuesday, June 12 walk from Coaley Peak picnic site to enjoy wildflower-rich grassland. 2 hours 3 miles. Parkrun happens every Saturday promptly at 9am on the field on Oldends Lane. It is for everyone - experienced runners and beginners, old and young - just come along and join in. It is free for all. If you have ever wanted to take up a running this is for you. Come along and find out – you will be very welcome. And now every Sunday at 9am Junior Parkrun – for young people age 4 – 14. Slightly shorter distance – just 2k. Congratulations to everyone who joined in the inaugural event last Sunday and thank to all the volunteers making this happen.
