MONKEYS throughout Uplands are going crazy for the World Cup in a weekend that will be filled with delights.

The monkey trail set up by the PTA of Uplands Primary School will incorporate a summer sizzle and pop-up cafe.

Families around the area have received monkeys with an anagram letter ready for the trail.

Trail maps will guide monkey hunters to find and collect the letters which will allow participants to complete a world-cup related anagram.

Winners will bag some amazing prizes including family passes to West Midland Safari Park and Cattle Country.

The Uplands Monkey Trail will take place this Saturday and Sunday along with the schools summer sizzle on Saturday from 2pm until 4pm in the playground.

In conjunction with this, the pop-up cafe will be open on both days between 11am and 5pm.

The trail maps, summer sizzle and cafe are all found at Uplands School in Thompson Road, Stroud.
