A Nailsworth group set up in the wake of the Paris climate deal is challenging the town to reduce its carbon footprint.
To show how, Nailsworth Climate Town Action Group (NCAT) will gather at the Arkell Community Centre with family friendly activities on Friday, June 22 and Saturday, June 23.
First off, the group will be screening feel-good film 'Demain' ('Tomorrow') to show viewers carbon-saving solutions in ten countries at 7pm on the Friday.
Then, on the Saturday from noon to 4pm, NCAT will be giving advice on practical action on how to reduce carbon to help environment and save money.
The afternoon will have low carbon food by The Canteen, children’s crafts, voting on logo designs for the Nailsworth Bag by pupils from the town’s primary school, an art exhibition, and action on plastics.
