Cotswold AONB Wardens’ Walks in and around Stroud - This Friday, July 13, coffee morning then walk no. one: ‘Round Selsley’. Start point Bell Inn Selsley, meet for coffee at 10am. The walk starts at 10.30 heading south to Woodchester before taking in Boundary Court (NT), Dingle Wood and Selsley Common. 3.5hours, 5 miles in all. All walks return to the starting point. Savvy Seniors - Vue Cinema, Thursday, July 12: ‘I Feel Pretty’ - a woman struggling with insecurity wakes from a fall believing she is the most beautiful and capable woman on the planet. Parkrun happens every Saturday promptly at 9am on the field on Oldends Lane. It is for everyone - experienced runners and beginners, old and young - just come along and join in. It is free for all. If you have ever wanted to take up a running this is for you. Come along and find out - you will be very welcome. And now every Sunday at 9am Junior Parkrun - for young people age 4 to 14. Slightly shorter distance - just 2k. Congratulations to everyone who joined in the inaugural event last Sunday and thank to all the volunteers making this happen.

Taking Pride in our Town - Nobody likes litter and a number of people meet every two months to tackle it. More people join in each time and we feel it is making a really improvement to our town. Come join the next Litter Pick Sunday, July 15 at 2pm at the Youth Pod on Oldends Lane. Litter pick for about 1 and a 1/2 hours and then return to the Pod for a cuppa and cake. Info on 01453 822070.

Stonehouse Library - Mondays 11.30 to 12 noon. the library holds story time for pre-school children. A new session for young children to discover the delights of hearing a story read to them. And every Wednesday at 10.30am the library welcomes toddlers for Bounce & Rhyme.
