THE Cotswold Sculpture Park are featuring 160 exhibits from many artists from the community.

David Hartland is the man behind the 10-acre site of woodlands, ponds, gardens and meandering paths in Somerford Keynes.

One of the highlights this year is a piece by Kendra Haste called 'The Bear' which has just come down from Kew Gardens, London.

David is also showcasing some of his artwork, including his piece 'When Skys are Grey, Painting the Sky Blue'.

"It was about trying to make the most of a bad day," said David.

It rained on the day when we put it up, but amusingly, since it has bene put up its been sunny ever since."

Other sculptures have been created by internationally renowned artists, with David adding he was also impressed by the talent of some lesser known community artists.

The gallery is open from 10.30am to 5pm (last admission at 4pm), except Tuesdays and Wednesdays when it is closed.

Admission is £5, and the gallery will run until the end of September.
