Historians in Stroud are trying to identify a series of sketches.

Stroud Local History Society is currently running its summer exhibition at St Laurence Parish Church - and one display features unidentified sketches the Society hopes someone will recognise.

As well as the sketches, the Society is showcasing its work from the past year - including its work uncovering what life was like in Stroud in the 1960s.

This project was celebrated on Friday, July 20 when the Society held a sixties night, with music from the era provided by the Boogie Bop Boys against the backdrop of 1960s pictures of the Stroud area, adverts, and sweets.

If you think you know where the sketches are from, pop along to the Society’s exhibition, running daily until Sunday July 29 from 11am to 5pm, and to 7pm on Thursday
