Stroud police have issued an e-fit image of a man who committed a lewd act in a charity shop changing room in Painswick.

The incident happened in the Longfield Hospice Care shop in Bisley Street at around 4.40pm on Thursday, May 24.

The offender entered the shop, browsed some CDs, picked up some shorts and then entered the changing rooms, where he committed the act.

Police have exhausted other enquiries trying identify the man and now the computer-generated picture of his face, based on the description of witnesses, has been released in the hope that someone will recognise him.
