TWO MUSICIANS will bring beautiful baroque music to Owlpen Manor on Tuesday, August 7.
Annabel Knight and Robin Bigwood both originally from Wotton-Under-Edge look forward to this years concert after what was described as a 'magical' evening last year.
The pair who met at the Royal College of Music outlined this years showing.
"We hope classical music enthusiasts will once again take the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful music, in the glorious surroundings at Olwpen," said Ms Knight.
"This year we are playing music by Francois Couperin in his 350th anniversary year, and Robin will give us the chance to hear Bach’s Aria Variata, a tantalisingly forerunner of the Goldbergs."
The baroque evening has become a popular annual event and will take place as part of the Woodhouse Recorder week, a summer school for advanced recorder players.
Tickets for each concert can be purchased separately at £12 or £6 for children or as a double-bill at £20 for adults and £10 for children at owlpenbaroque18.eventbrite.co.uk
