GLOUCESTERSHIRE Police rural crime team made a gruesome discovery in a field earlier today.
PC Ashley Weller (Rural and Wildlife Crime), who is part of the policing team for Cirencester Urban, came across two deer carcasses this morning.
The deer had both been subjected to a horrific death at the hands of callous wildlife criminals.
Cotswold Police posted a tweet describing what PC Weller saw.
The grim part of being a Wildlife Crime Officer for PC Weller. Discovering 2 deer hunted down by dogs then ran over in the field, just for "sport". A heinous death inflicted by sick people pic.twitter.com/KmdOYv4ANa
