A BOOKBINDING and ceramics exhibition takes place at Painswick church rooms until August 19.
Featured artists at the exhibition, which is open daily from 10am, are Anne Weare (bookbinding) and Vicky Hendzel (ceramic artist).
Anne will exhibit individually designed multi-purpose plain paged and feint ruled bindings.
Past work has been purchased for weddings, anniversaries, new homes and many other special occasions.
Over the past year Anne has worked on many treasured family bindings, restoring the books to make them usable once more whilst retaining all the original character possible.
During the exhibition Anne is happy to discuss binding options on any project you are working on, and give advice on repair bindings. There will also be examples of repair bindings to look at.
Vicky will exhibit her varied skills with ceramics. From porcelain dishes to ceramic planters, inspired by her surroundings, the various clays and decorative glazes dictate the finished design of the piece.
