The Cashes Green Community Centre have organised a community BBQ to bring people in the area together this Sunday.
The Centre has been within the community for a while, but this year it has got a new set of trustees.
At this event the Centre will be celebrating the past, present and will consulting with people about the future.
“Many times the community of Cashes Green has been forgotten and we want to put ourselves back on the map,” said Oli King, youth coordinator for Cashes Green Community Centre.
“We are a registered charity and want to raise awareness of the brilliant facilities we have to offer the whole of Stroud for music events, youth orientated events and community events.”
The BBQ will run from 1-5pm on Sunday, August 19 at Cashes Green Community Centre, Queens Road, Cashes Green.
There will be a live band, tombola, consultation, child friendly games, a bar and of cause a BBQ.
