The National Trust is removing the zip wire at Woodchester Park after it was vandalised.
"Both the zip wire itself and a padlocked chain which was there to prevent people accessing it whilst not in use have been damaged," the National Trust said in a statement yesterday.
"This is of course a great disappointment to both the Trust and visitors who visit specifically to use it.
"The zip wire is a key part of the play trail. New play trail elements will be developed and installed in 2019."
