TRAFFIC in Stroud is starting to clear after a broken down lorry in the centre of the town brought traffic to a standstill for over an hour.
Additionally the lorry, which was stranded outside Rowcroft Retreat near Merrywalks, held up a second lorry which was also trying to access the area.
All major roads around the town centre arre now clear and travel times have returned to normal.
Earlier this morning the town was gridlocked after a lorry broke down near Merrywalks
