HERE’S a date for the diary: the annual Rotary Five Valleys Fireworks display (formerly known as Ebley Fireworks) will be held on Monday October 22.

Over the past 50 years, the mammoth display has become a popular fixture on Stroud’s social scene and has also raised over £250,000 for local charities.

The event is organised by the three Rotary Clubs of Stroud, Nailsworth and Stonehouse and the local 41 Club which is made up of former Round Table members. Any firm that would like to join the team of sponsors is asked to get in touch via the website at http://www.fivevalleysfireworks.org.uk/sponsors/

In return for sponsoring the display, with a minimum donation of £100, sponsors are able to: display an advertising banner at the event; put their company logo on the official website; receive complementary tickets to the event; receive a certificate to display; and use the official Rotary Five Valleys Fireworks logo in local media advertising.
