STROUD FELL SILENT today as the town marked the Queen's funeral.
Pubs such as the Fountain Inn, Slad Road and the Ragged Cot, Minchinhampton live streamed the emotional and historic service.
The Vue cinema in Merrywalks also showed the funeral on the big screen, an event which was sold out.
The town centre was visibly empty as most shops and services were shut for the bank holiday.
