The sun shone and crowds gathered for the 25th Nailsworth Festival on Saturday.

Nailsworth Community Choir kicked off the event at 10am, followed by a variety of fun-packed entertainment for all ages.

Visitors jigged along to Stroud Samba Band and African and flamenco dancers, and Frantix the clown kept children amused.

This year's crafts in action included basket making, dry stone walling, quilt making, wood carving and sculpture, spinning and weaving and picture cleaning.

There were also demonstrations and art exhibitions held in shops and galleries around the town.

A procession made its way up to King George V playing field at 3pm for live music by bands at Nailstock.

Groups included Sons of the Delta, Firetree, Mad Arthur's Fat Dog Blues Band, Dustmites, Decipher Manana, Smack the Pinata, British Class and The Form.
