PUPILS welcomed shoppers to raise money for a good cause at a festive event.

Ashchurch Primary School students sang carols for customers at Dobbies’ Tewkesbury at its first Christmas shopping night, raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust last week.

It was a night of Christmas cheer with carolling, a snow machine, and free food and drink samples.

Families were also able to experience a special preview of Santa’s Grotto and try the garden centre’s new festive menu.
