THIS has to be the warmest start to November I’ve ever experienced!

Even at 4.30am on Saturday it was 14 degrees!

Anyway, best not to complain as this Saturday’s market promises to be another marvellous episode of our weekly foodie extravaganza.

We hope you like the abundance of vegetables.

Such high quality and so fresh! I was cutting up a Savoy Cabbage for a roast dinner on Monday and even I was taken aback at the freshness of it, it literally exploded with juices every time I put the knife through it. Amazing!

This week we are pleased to see Bow in the Cloud Vineyard return.

They were busy with the harvest last month so missed their usual week. This is one of the old, old original stalls, with the second generation continuing what dad Keith started way back in 2001. With VQ Country Wines also at the market it could be good week to stock up!

Stroud cheeses are also big this week with Jonathan Crump and Godsell’s both in and then Bath Soft Cheeses are in for their monthly stand. Katie Crunch fudges are also back, as are Escento Soaps, both of whom missed last month. The Garlic Farm are in as well and won’t be back until the December 16 after this as they will at Bath Christmas Market for a month or more.

Also look out for Cotswold Scotch Eggs, Uley Brewery and Jack Bakes free from bakery who missed their last market mid-October.
