THE STROUD community stopped to remember those who have given their lives for their country today, Remembrance Sunday.
Residents paid tribute to the fallen at a Sunday Remembrance service at the St Laurence Church followed by a ceremony in Park Gardens.
Despite the rainy weather, many attended the annual event.
