POLICE are searching for thieves who stole a school minibus in Stroud earlier this week.

Gloucestershire Police said in a community alert the vehicle was stolen by "unknown means" from the Marling School Sports Hall car park in Cainscross Road.

It is believed the incident took place between 4.50pm on Monday, December 18 and 7am on Tuesday, December 19.

However, a Marling School spokesperson told the SNJ that the stolen minibus "did not belong to the school."
