PUPILS from Marling School have been on an out of this world experience this week. 

Students and staff have visited Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, where several Apollo missions launched from. 

A school spokesperson said: "The science department at Marling School has given students a unique opportunity to discover the incredible real life applications of science at the Kennedy Space Centre.

"Learning about various space missions including the latest from the James Webb telescope and the awe inspiring history of the Apollo missions as well as seeing the incredible scale of the Saturn V rocket and the Atlantis space shuttle.

"This is raising their aspirations in science careers and further increasing the popularity of science at Marling School."
